Yes. Firmware is required for every DMA device to function.

Firmware is the software that makes your DMA card actually work. You can think of it like the “brain” of the card — without it, the DMA card is just a piece of hardware that does nothing. The firmware tells the card how to connect to your PC, how to read game data, and how to work with the DMA cheat software on your second computer. That’s why every DMA setup needs firmware, and why it sometimes has to be updated or replaced when games or anti-cheat systems change. You can also order a custom firmware.

Your gaming PC must meet the following requirements:

  • One free PCI-Express slot for the DMA card

  • One available HDMI port if a Fuser is used

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 installed

Windows 10 is generally preferred because of its higher compatibility with DMA cheat environments, but Windows 11 is also supported.

The second PC runs the DMA cheat software and should have:

  • A modern CPU with at least 4 cores and AVX2 support

  • At least 12 GB of RAM

  • One available USB 3.0 or newer port

  • One HDMI port if a Fuser is used

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11

If no Fuser is used, then a second monitor is required to view the cheat software on the secondary PC.

We provide written and video guides for setting up DMA cards, firmware, and DMA cheats. If you follow our video instructions, you will be able to get this working without having advanced knowledge about DMA hardware. You need to be able to do at least the basic setup such as connecting the cables, installing the drivers, running the cheat and configuring the aimbot etc. on your own. If you purchased a custom firmware from our website and following safe usage practices, the risk is very low. However, no DMA cheat setup can ever be 100% risk-free.

No. A KMBox by itself does not work.
To use DMA cheats, you need a minimum setup: two computers, a DMA card, firmware, and a DMA cheat.

The KMBox and Fuser are only add-ons that work together with this setup. They do nothing on their own and cannot be used without a DMA card, firmware, and a running DMA cheat system.
